Frequently asked questions
What is a safety certificate (roadworthy)?
A safety certificate confirms your vehicle meets Queensland's minimum safety standards. It's generally required when selling a registered vehicle or transferring registration.
How long is a safety certificate valid?
In Queensland a safety certificate is generally valid for 2 months or 2,000 km (whichever comes first) for private sellers. We'll confirm the current requirements for your situation.
Do you offer mobile inspections?
Yes — we can come to your home or work across Brisbane, Ipswich, the Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba. The final price for a mobile inspection is confirmed based on your location.
What vehicles can you inspect?
Cars and light vehicles up to 4.5t GVM, and motorcycles (including trikes & mopeds). If you're unsure, just ask when you book.
How do I pay?
After you send a booking request, we'll confirm the details and send you a secure invoice link to pay online. No payment is taken on the website itself.
